One World Together at Home

Pop Star Lady Gaga just announced a worldwide concert telecast featuring J Balvin, Lizzo, Billie Eilish and other widely recognized artists to support the workers who are fighting against the coronavirus all around the world. I don’t think we are ready for this!

On April 6th, Gaga posted a video on her social media communicating why, how and when this telecast was happening. The event is called “One world: Together at home”  which will be live on April 18th, 2020, and it will be hosted by the TV hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert. As said before, this is a charity event for the WHO, World Health Organization, that has the goal of raising money to help with the financial need for supplies and medications for fighting the Coronavirus.

The artists and comedians who are joining Lady Gaga in this amazing event are Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, Finneas, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith urban, Kerry Washington, Lady Gaga, Kang

Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, and  Stevie Wonder. They have agreed to bring happiness to the world and help healthcare workers around the world who are searching for a cure.

Gaga and the World Health Organization have already raised around USD 35 million to contribute to the crisis of the pandemic. They hope this telecast featuring our favorite artists can relieve the tension felt during this situation and distract the public for a couple of hours, uniting everybody since it is the only way we can survive the crisis the world is going through during quarantine. It is important to stay positive and to stay strong for the next couple of months; we can’t let the virus win the battle. Stay at home and feel free to experience new things you normally don’t do. Take advantage and spend time with your family, make this a positive situation, and take time for yourself. You'll see

that when you least expect it you will be able to go out again and see your friends and family; you will be able to go back to school and work.

Who else is excited about this concert? I know I am!
