It's Drama Time!

You might think that I’m going to talk about friendship drama or youtube tea, but oh boy are you wrong. I am a big fan of soap operas or better known as telenovelas but my longing to find good dramas was never satisfied with the usual nickelodeon high school love dramas, no. Just until a few years ago I started watching Asian dramas, Korean, Thai, Japanese; you name it. My eyes were opened to a whole new array of comedy, suspense, enemies-to-lovers, and many more soap opera genres, to say the least, it was magnificent. So today, dear reader, I’m going to recommend to you some of the latest dramas I’ve been watching that have made me feel so lonely I’ve cried, they have made me laugh, and have made me feel soul burning anger and frustration because of plot twists or people getting in the way of the main characters having the happy ending I’ve longed to see.

2gether: The Series

I started watching this Thai drama a few weeks ago after seeing it on tik tok and let me tell you what a roller coaster of emotions it has been, there has been a whole love arch, betrayal, jealousy and a cast of lovable characters who make the show so much more dynamic and hilarious. It’s still ongoing but it’s nearing its end with just a few episodes left. You can watch it on youtube for free every Friday

Itaewon Class

You might’ve seen this one on the recent releases on Netflix and ignored it, but if you enjoy shows that make you feel empowered, have love triangles, a very diverse cast and silly, serious and sad scenes this one might be for you. After I watched this series I cried so much it’s actually funny, but it made me feel like if I ever had an enemy who tried ruining my plans throughout my life, I could totally do it. So, if you want to watch a feel-good show with one of the most rewarding endings I totally recommend it.

My First First Love

This one’s not as new as the first two but it’s been one of the nicest ones I’ve watched in a while. As you can see from the other ones I’ve suggested I’m a sucker for romance soap operas and this one’s no exception. It’s a friend-to-lovers, comedy and it's extremely light-hearted and easy to watch, I binge watched this one in maybe two days and it was worth it. Do keep in mind it only has two seasons at the moment so it might frustrate you a little because you would have to wait for the next one to be released.

Well, The list could go on and on, but I don’t want to bore you with descriptions of each one, so get on it, watch some dramas, spice up your watch list and be ready to cry, laugh and feel an extreme mix of emotions.
